Bizarre interruptions

Whilst in italy i experienced a rather bizarre interruption to a throwing session when a helicopter landed in the middle of the infield! Watching a helicopter land is quite spectacular, the only problem was that it blew away my marker from a previous that i was about to measure....it was a pretty decent distance!

The infield at Formia is used by flying doctors taking accident and emergency patients to and from a local hospital. Whilst they were waiting for the patient to be brought to them by ambulance, the paramedics and i hunted for my mark under the helicopter. We had no joy in finding it but it was quite an experience!
